Wolfsburg Motorwerks Incorporated
Company History
Wolfsburg Motorwerks Incorporated was founded by Jack Morris in 1993 - Jack started his business out in the back of Bill Diericks famed NOS vintage Volkswagen parts business, Wolfsburg Warehouse in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle. At the time, Jack was a full-time mechanic at Bellevue BMW across Lake Washington in Bellevue, Washington and he spent his weekends and evenings building vintage Volkswagen engines for Bill Diericks' special projects and those of his customers. Eventually Jack's side-business workload grew to the point he was able to walk away from modern BMWs in 1995 and focus on the air-cooled engines he is so passionate about. Bill Diericks decided to move on to new adventures and offered to sell his business, including a vast new and used parts inventory to Jack in 1997.
